Who are we?

Caffè Roen was founded in 1979 in Pacengo di Lazise, in the province of Verona, on the beautiful shores of Lake Garda. Founded by Sergio Bendinelli, our artisanal roasting company has always been dedicated to the production of superior quality espresso coffee.

Our mission is to turn coffee into an art, combining passion, dedication and innovation to offer our customers an exceptional product. Over the years, our roasting company has grown and evolved. Initially, Sergio used a small roasting machine to perfect the blends and start production mainly for the Ho.Re.Ca. sector.

The quality of our coffees and our reliability have won over a growing number of customers, we have become their trusted coffee supplier, and this has prompted us to invest more and more in research and development. In 1997, the relocation of the roasting plant to Affi marked a major change.

The new premises housed state-of-the-art production facilities, such as our low-temperature roaster, and saw the introduction of a tasting and training room. This step allowed us to broaden our horizon and open up to foreign markets, thanks also to the entry of Enrico, Sergio’s son, who has a degree in languages and specialises in exports.

Today, Caffè Roen is a reference point for coffee lovers. In our shop with tasting room, we offer the opportunity to taste our fine blends and to participate in workshops, courses and guided tastings. Our passion for coffee is visible in every cup we serve and in the service we provide.

Our founder, Sergio Bendinelli, started his adventure in the world of coffee in 1979 with a clear and ambitious vision: to become a high quality coffee producer and supplier to the Ho.Re.Ca. sector.

Sergio has dedicated his career to selecting the best coffee varieties from the world’s most renowned regions. Thanks to his passion and expertise, he has created unique and sought-after blends to satisfy the most discerning palates. We continue to offer superior quality espresso coffee, carefully roasted at our site in the province of Verona by our experienced master roaster.

Whole beans

Whole beans retain all the organoleptic properties of coffee, such as taste, aroma and freshness, much longer than ground coffee. Grinding only takes place at the time of use, preventing oxidation that can compromise the taste and aroma of the coffee.

Grinding the beans immediately before coffee preparation preserves the quality of the blend, keeping intact the essential oils and aromatic compounds that contribute to the creaminess and richness of espresso coffee.

This approach ensures that every cup of coffee you brew is characterised by a thick, velvety crema and a complex, balanced flavour that reflects our commitment to excellence.
